Pagi Yang Gelap

"Pagi yang gelap, kini sudah terang....."

That's part of lyrics from Hujan's song.

But I am not going to write about song, nor about Hujan.
Its the dark sky above that excites me.
We have been having hot Ramadhan so far.  There has been no rain for the last one ++ week.  It was bright, sunny, hot, hot, hot.
For someone working in an airconditioned office and does not get to enjoy lunch break during Ramadhan, this is not an issue.
But my kids have been complaining "Ibu, panas sungguh hari ini".  "Ibu, my lips are very dried".  "Ibu, I was feeling extremely thirsty today".
Kasihan anak-anakku.

But, who are we to complain?  God has his way.  Sometimes He gives us hot weather, sometimes He gives us rain.  Even the rain comes in many variations - drizzle, softer drizzle, heavy, storm, windy rain, etc.

All these are supposed to make us to be more appreciative and thankful.
Be thankful that even though the weather has been hot, we do not experience drought.
Be thankful that when the sky was pouring non stop resulting in flash flood, we do not experience typhoon.
Let us appreciate mother nature as we are going to live in and we want to live in it comfortably.

Alhamdulillah, after many bright sunny mornings, I was going to work in "pagi yang gelap" this morning.  InsyaAllah "pagi yang gelap" will change to "kini sudah terang".

Thank you sister

Assalammualaikum and hello!

This is my blog.  And this is my first time having a blog.  I must thank my sister Ella for spending time teaching my to create a blog.  This is something that she has promised for quite some time ago but we were both busy.

She came to my house today for other reason, but finally we ended up creating this blog.  She got paid - a piece of layer cake, two pieces of lamb patties on pastry sheets and a tiny container of beef sambal.  These would be good for her iftar.

I have not decided how and what to do with this blog.  Since many people are having blogs, I thought I want to have one too.  Tara, and here I am in the world of cyperspace.
